Derives its name from Harsollas(cheerfulness) in Punjab, this festival is celebrated in a different way in this state. Hola Mohalla is actually a fair which has been held once a year since the festival of Holi in a small city Anandpur Sahib, Punjab(india). The scale is organized. The practice of organizing such a fair was started by the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh. The purpose of the fair was to physically strengthen the Sikh community by conducting military exercises and mock battles. This festival is celebrated for three consecutive days.
